Flipp Saves Time and Celebrates Moms

I am always looking for things to make grocery shopping easier. As a busy single mom, I do not have time to go through all the flyers, find the sales, clip coupons etc. When Darin was alive, he would do all those things. He enjoyed spending time looking for deals and then he would drive to different stores with a grocery list and coupons in hand.  After he died, I tried to continue his grocery routine but I just did not have the patience or time.

Luckily for me, there is an app for that and it is called Flipp! Flipp has changed the way I do my shopping. Flipp does all the work for you! The Flipp app is location based and delivers all the flyers directly to your phone. It searches all the flyers in your area and finds the best deals for you. With Flipp’s in-app shopping list and coupon matching, you can quickly and easily find the best deals on whatever you need and also receive instant savings at the checkout. It is super easy to use and best of all –  it saves you time. As busy moms, we can all use more time!

Flipp is doing a fantastic giveaway for a $250 SpaFinder gift card. Check out their Facebook page and find out how to enter. Ends May 31st, so go over and check it out asap.

Don’t buy more produce that you can use up in a couple days to prevent it from going bad and having to be thrown out. I also won’t go buy any new produce until we used everything we have in the fridge/counter up. It can be expensive so by making sure you use it all up it helps to save money. Coupons are great too!

I have been using the flipp app to browse flyers and stock up on items that are on sale.

I don`t buy certain brands I buy what is on sale. so if no name is on sale I will buy that. of course if nothing is on sale then I will go for the lowest price

I have found the best way to save money on groceries is to have a meal plan for the week. You then buy only what you need for that week’s meals and don’t end up throwing produce out as it does not get used.

I try to use coupons and flipp to do my price matching. I only shop in stores that price match unless there is a deal on PC Points (ie. Loblaws)..

Shop around the outside of the store and avoid all the middle rows. The produce, meat and dairy section are the best.

Meal planning is a great way to save money on groceries. I literally spend half the amount on the weeks that I meal plan because I’m such an impulse buyer when I don’t have my list.

My tip is to stock up when prices are REALLY good on items that you commonly use’ and won’t go bad before you can use them

I stock up on products I use when they are on sale so when I run out I never have to pay full price. Also I use coupons and money back apps :)
